Being next door to Asbury University, Mount Freedom has a heart for students. We welcome and encourage university students and all young adults to get involved, grow, and serve in the church. Whether it’s participating in Sunday morning worship or volunteering in an outreach ministry, there are many opportunities to develop and use the gifts God has given each of us.
Sunday Morning Classes
On Sunday morning at 9:30a, we offer a class for young adults 18 and over.
Fellowship in Ministry
Mount Freedom Baptist Church also has a number of members who are attending Asbury Theological Seminary. Many of these seminary students are from countries all over the world, and have many years of being active in ministry and outreach. For anyone with an interest in missions and evangelism, fellowship with these brothers and sisters provides a rare opportunity for understanding and growth in these fields.
Opportunities to Serve
There are opportunities to serve in various activities at Mount Freedom Baptist Church. From participating in Sunday morning worship, to helping out with the children’s ministries, to being a group leader at vacation bible school, and more.
Premarital Counseling
Pastor Nathan offers an eight-week premarital counseling course for students who get engaged.
