My name is Tiffany Groves, and I am the Children’s Director at Mount Freedom Baptist Church. I have attended Mount Freedom since 2011 and have been the Children’s Director at Mount Freedom since January 2016. I am very blessed to be a part of the wonderful work that God is doing in our church and in our children. My goal is to give the children a solid foundation of who Christ is, what He has done for us, and how to share the gospel with others. I desire for them to have a zeal for learning and listening to the call of the gospel on their lives.
Growing up, my family lived overseas in Lesotho, Africa for three years as missionaries with an organization called Mission Aviation Fellowship. My love for missions and reaching people for Christ began as I watched my parents form relationships with the people around them, leading to genuine evangelism. I want to instill that same passion in our youngest members so when they grow up, they will continue to spread the gospel and Christ’s love everywhere they go.
Since coming home from the mission field, I invested in my church family through involvement in youth group, working in the nursery, and volunteering for VBS groups. After graduating from Asbury University, I taught elementary school for six years and now, I am a stay-at-home mom with my daughter.
As our daughter grows up, my husband and I pray that her walk with Christ will be strengthened through the children’s ministry at Mount Freedom. I would love for you and your family to join us in this journey of faith on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings!
